Gaza -
Nude photoshoot, 1988
Gaza nude photoshoot, 1988
In 1988,
Penthouse
magazine did a nude photoshoot
on a Gaza beach.
This was in
The Penthouse Collection,
vol 4 no 4,
1988.
Gaza in 1988 was under Israeli control.
In 2005, Israel left Gaza and it became a terrorist Islamist state under Hamas.
The 1988 photoshoot
was re-discovered by some pro-Israel people in 2011:
I think this photoshoot is very evocative because it shows:
- A territory can go backwards as well as forwards.
- Nothing is fixed forever. In 200 years time, there may be sexual liberation and topless/nude beaches in Gaza.
Nothing is fixed forever.
Islam could have a great apostasy in the coming centuries.
Here's hoping!
The distant past: Ancient Egypt before Islam
Gaza was part of
Ancient Egyptian
territory for several centuries, including around the time of the picture below.
This is 2,000 years before Islam was invented.
Things go backwards as well as forwards.
Not that everything in Ancient Egypt was great!
But many things went backwards later.

The near past: Photoshoot on Gaza beach, 1988
OK even in 1988, Gaza wasn't normally like this, but: (a) there were bikinis, and: (b)
Penthouse
felt relaxed enough in Gaza
to do this photoshoot.
The present: Gaza beaches under Hamas
Hamas brought
Islamic religious law
to Gaza.
No more bikinis, or any immodest dress.
Who can say that Gaza today is better than in 1988? Nobody. It is obviously worse.
